Louis Janssens (b. 1995) graduated in Drama from KASK (Ghent) in 2018. From 2012 to 2022, he and Ferre Marnef formed the two-person collective Desnor. They made various shows, including Ideale Plaats, #BOS, Galileo and Toverberg.
Janssens' solo show Serenade premiered in 2021 and was selected for the #nieuwjong category at the TheaterFestival 2021.
In 2022, he collaborated with Willem de Wolf at De Hoe theatre company to create the show Analoog, which was selected for the TheaterFestival in Belgium and the Nederlands Theater Festival (2023) in Holland.
Desire had its premiere in August 2023 during Theaterfestival Boulevard and was selected for the TheaterFestival 2024.
Early October 2025 saw the premiere of Family. selected for the Nederlands Theater Festival 2026.
Louis Janssens is affiliated with arts centre Monty as an artistic sounding board. As a teacher, he is involved in the Acting programme at the Royal Conservatoire in Antwerp.
