Tim Van Steenbergen’s set was inspired by the media images that bombard us on a daily basis, but also by iconic images like those of Hieronymus Bosch. His designs for the costumes play with the tension between flexibility and immobility, for example, and with the idea of people disappearing into a crowd or merging into the background.
The set designer’s extraordinary sketchbook acts as a guide to the various parts of the production and illustrates its visual framework. Take a look inside!
