After staging notallwhowanderarelost at the Festival d’Avignon (FR), Benjamin Verdonck joins FC Bergman at the Theaterfestival Boulevard.The Land of Nod and WE DON’T SPEAK TO BE UNDERSTOOD are on the programme. Then Benjamin will head for Tallinn (EE), Ljubljana (SI) and Geneva (CH).
After Hertogenbosch, Het land Nod can also be seen at the Rotterdamse Schouwburg (NL).
The rehearsals for Caligula have begun, the new Toneelhuis production directed by Guy Cassiers with Kevin Janssens in the lead role. August will also see the start of rehearsals for Xerse, an opera Guy Cassiers is directing at the request of Opéra de Lille.
The box office in Orgelstraat is open for tickets and subscriptions.
Pierre openend on July 7th. This new permanent café and restaurant on the ground floor serves breakfast, lunch and aperitifs, with the emphasis on modern, fresh, funky and healthy. The large outdoor terrace with seats in the sun is sure to bring the Komedieplaats to life.
On Sunday August 30th 2015 you’ll find Toneelhuis at the Culture Market where we’ll be making a festive contribution. We’re organizing a sale of stock on the Bourla stage and we’ll be selling tickets at the culture market discounted price. Pierre will have its doors wide open. As usual the Toneelhuis stand displaying the new season’s brochures will be on the Groenplaats.
You’ll have to wait till November 19th 2015 for the first première of the new season but until then keep a close eye on our website. In September and October special evenings are planned at the Bourla which you should not miss!
