Can something sound colourful? Sinaas proves it can! Sinaas, the musical alter ego of visual artist Fleur De Roeck, is playful, poppy and irresistible.
In Sinaas Summer Show, it seems as if creatures and objects have fallen out of one of her paintings. The result is a magical and absurd universe of images, performers, dancers and musicians moving around her, turning the stage into a living painting.
To infectious rhythms, she sings and speaks about broken hearts, summer gardens and diary poetry, balancing between intimate words and dancing fruit sounds.
Sinaas is a natural extension of Fleur's exuberant visual world. She has already made the halls of M HKA and Mu.ZEE vibrate with her voice, singing among sets she painted herself.
