In 1926, Soviet psychiatrist Sukhareva founded a school for neuro-divergent children. Instead of calling them ‘disturbed’, she described them as gifted and introduced the term ‘autismus’. One hundred years later, a director who has recently been diagnosed with autism brings together ten neuro-divergent performers. Collectively, they form a unique ensemble that invites the audience to look at differences in a new light and to make room for everybody.
