Florian Myjer (b. 1992) is a theatre maker and actor. He creates personal and artistically challenging adaptations of classical world literature.
After graduating in Performance from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2017, Florian became a permanent theatre maker at Frascati Productions (2017-2021). Here he made the productions Oliver (TAZ - De Grote Post Residency Award 2018), Regina Rex (nominated for the BNG Theaterprijs 2018) and Yves Saint Laurent, among others. With Kim Karssen, he made Bloomsbury, Oorlog en Vrede (nominated for the BNG Theaterprijs 2021) and Mephisto Park.
From 2021 to 2024, Florian was part of the artistic direction of Theatergroep De Warme Winkel, where he made the productions Lady Chatterley's Lover (selected for Nederlands Theaterfestival 2022), Mann Mann Mann and Brideshead Revisited. As an actor, Florian has appeared in shows by Theater Oostpool and Theater Artemis. For his role in the film Sweet Dreams (which was also the Dutch Oscar entry), he was awarded a Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actor. In 2024, Florian is leaving De Warme Winkel to continue his theatre work on his own.
Abke Haring (°1978) is a much acclaimed actor in The Netherlands and Belgium, who won the prestigious Theo d’Or award for her portrayal of Hamlet in Hamlet vs Hamlet directed by Guy Cassiers in 2014. She starred in many plays for diverse theatercompanies like International Theater Amsterdam, Toneelhuis, NTGent and Frascati. She worked with Ivo van Hove, Guy Cassiers, Luk Perceval, Floor Houwink ten Cate and many more inspiring directors on stage. Abke also writes for theater and is known for her physical performances. For Toneelhuis she wrote and made FLOU, SONG#2 (together with Benjamin Verdonck), TRAINER, UNISONO and PLATINA, among others.
She starred in series and films such as Fenix (2017), Primus (2022) Piece of my Heart (2022) and Splendid Isolation (2022) which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2022. She just finished filming a new series in the lead with director Michiel van Erp.
In 2023, Abke Haring was on stage with De Warme Winkel with Brideshead Revisited at the Holland Festival. She featured in Sea of Silence, an urgent performance about domestic violence, and starred alongside Jacob Derwig in Panic Room, both directed by Floor Houwink ten Cate for Theatre Utrecht.
