The Park Avenue Armory provides a venue for monumental, site-specific and multidisciplinary productions that transcend the boundaries of the traditional theatre. The venue is internationally known for its artistically groundbreaking projects at the intersection of theatre, music, performance and the visual arts.

FC Bergman’s visit to the Park Avenue Armory is the result of a long-standing ambition. Artistic director Deborah Warner is particularly looking forward to the collaboration in 2027. The New York arts venue has been following FC Bergman for almost a decade and considers the company’s long-awaited visit a major milestone.

For FC Bergman, this marks a return to New York. The company made its US debut in 2022 with 300 el x 50 el x 30 el, as the opening performance of the Next Wave Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). The production earned FC Bergman a place on The New York Times’ prestigious year-end ‘Best Of’ list in 2022.
