I HATE MONDAYS is a new urban concept that brings a variety of young creative talent into the broader art world. For four Mondays, LevelUp will be curating the programme at the Bourla, working with its favourite local artists and introducing new and varied forms of art to the stage!
LevelUp is a new artists’ collective that devotes itself to creative talent in Antwerp and is comprised of eight promising artists from the city. This initiative is a collaboration between Toneelhuis and the Kavka youth centre, with funding from the Flemish government.

This first edition of I HATE MONDAYS is part of the new L’Afrique c’est chic. Under that catchy name, ccBe, De Roma and Arenberg have joined forces for a colourful festival celebrating the art, music and identity of Afro culture from all over the world. For three whole weeks, from 4 to 21 October, you can enjoy various cultural activities at different locations
spread throughout the city and its neighbourhoods: literary happenings, culinary evenings, performances, film, theatre, dance, and a broad range of new music and styles.
