Waldeinsamkeit
A baroque miniature of light and dark with a compelling soundtrack. A magical machine that seems to operate on its own in the darkness. Let yourself be enchanted in minutes by this Wunderkammer with pale colours, little doors that open and close, and a great many strings.
Rainbow
Rainbow goes into the refraction of light. Shadows fall on the backdrop – the horizon – in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo or violet colours.
Rainbow is the latest newcomer in Verdonck’s ever-growing repertoire of mobile peep shows. Conceived as a playful counterpart to Waldeinsamkeit, they are of similar length and form a special pair.
