one day, vos 8 writes a letter to the humans
he thinks it’s cool that humans
show their love for their pups just like he does
he explains that a fox
makes honest agreements with the chicken about eating the eggs
and he congratulates the humans on the wonderful shopping mall they made
but something happened
that he doesn’t understand
and vos 8 wants an answer
he wants to know what is wrong with people

fox 8 is a story by the fantastic george saunders
the fox does his best
but his writing is not without mistakes
which doesn’t make the letter easy to read
so you could interpret the story
as the impossibility of understanding someone else’s motives
and everything that results from this incomprehension
